Sakura is a favourite of the locals in the village for lunch. Sakura was started by a lovely Japanese couple from Hiroshima who make the most perfect okonomiyaki which is a cross between an omelette and a savory pancake although there is no real way to describe it. Everyone loves okonomiyaki and it should definitely be part of your food adventure in Madarao.
Sakura is open Tuesday – Sunday. It is open for Lunch: 11am – 2:pm and then again for Dinner: 5:00pm – 8pm. Dinner is Reservation Only.
